creating a culture of hope for young women

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”

Little girl, I say  to you  - Arise.

Mark 5:41

Project 5.41 is the creation of a culture that supports young women. Our goal is to help highschool aged women deepen their understanding of the immense gift of their femininity. We seek to do this first and foremost by a lived encounter with Christ, and support that encounter through engaging talks, witnesses, prayer groups, and true community. Our name is from the verse Mark 5:41, in which Christ says to the deceased daughter of the official "Talitha Koum", which means "little girl, I say to you, arise." Christ desires to bring new life and hope into every moment of our lives, and so we seek to open our hearts to Him.

We are grateful to operate under L'Alto Catholic Institute, a locally based not-for-profit that is partnering with parishes in the Chicagoland area to help form disciples.

Project 5.41 is not affiliated with any one parish but rather seeks to serve all young women in the local area.

Twice a month, we host an event for women to gather together. Talks, prayers, fellowship, good food and Praise and Worship all included!
